Alexis Bloom (Producer) has produced extensively for PBS' Frontline, both on investigative pieces in the U.S. and on international stories from Zimbabwe, Kenya, Nigeria, Mozambique, and Bhutan. She was also a producer on the Emmy Award-winning (for long form non-fiction) PBS show Rx for Survival and a producer/director on the NOVA series This Emotional Life. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Bloom graduated from England's Cambridge University and the University of California at Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism. Early on in her career, she produced extensively for the National Geographic Channel and for BBC World. She has also written for newspapers in both the U.K. and in the U.S., and has been a television correspondent for Frontline/WORLD and the music series Sound Tracks.
