Good vs Evil Regional Mixer - NOVA Roller Derby

NOVA Roller Derby would like to invite you to participate in the Good vs Evil Summer Mixer on July 27, 2013. The event will take place at Michael and Son's Sportsplex in Sterling, VA, first whistle at 4:30 PM. This will be a fun filled regional mixer of many leagues and skill levels. We will be playing one all women's game (Pretty Princesses vs. Evil Queens) and one co-ed (Super Heros vs. Super Villains), which means fun for everyone!

If you are interested in skating in both bouts please record this on the registration form along with your first preference for team (All Women or CoEd). If there is space on a roster after registration closes on July 1, we will place these skaters on a second team on a first registered first placed basis. You will be asked to pay an additional $10 fee for your 2nd shirt if this occurs.

Registration cost is $20 for non NOVARD league members and $15 for NOVARD league members. Each skater will receive a mixer t-shirt. Teams will be assigned in advance and will include mixed skill and experience levels. Each game will consist of two thirty minute halves, played by MADE rules. (See www.skatemade.org for more information on the rules set.) Never played MADE before? Not a problem! Come ready to learn and have a great time!

Registration cutoff is July 1, and we will send out team assignments and additional information by July 15. Shirts will be mailed to one League contact for distribution prior to the event date. Shirts will not include name and number - each player is responsible for putting their own name and number on their shirt!
