Poverty Bay Blues and Brews

The Des Moines Rotary Club invites you to attend the 4th Annual Poverty Bay Blues and Brews Fest. This event is the prime fundraiser for our Highline Music4Life program expanding music to youth in our local schools.

Enjoy a day on the shores of Puget Sound, listening and dancing to the tunes of Lisa Mann, Stacy Jones Band, Coyote Kings with Mush Morgan and the award winning Blues talents of the Randy Oxford Band together with a variety of fine brews from local microbreweries.

To complement your blues and brews, we will be barbecuing Bratwurst and B&E Market's famous Tri Tip for your dining enjoyment. The Festival will be located on the shores of Puget Sound at the Des Moines Beach Park. This is an outdoor event and will be held rain or shine, you must be 21 or older to attend and no pets will be allowed inside the event.

No outside food or beverages allowed. Low lawn chairs and picnic blankets allowed. There will be plenty of free parking around town with a free shuttle circulating town on a regular basis. While you are in town, you might want to visit the Des Moines Farmer's Market and the classic car show in the Marina.

Tickets are $25 in advance; $30 at the gate. Six tasting tokens included with the price of admission. All beer tastings this year will be one Token! 100% of the net proceed support the Des Moines Rotary's charitable projects including our primary benefactor Highline Music4Life
