In a mythical Underworld, gods and monsters roam beneath the physical realm, their epic tales told through art and literature. The creatures of this Underworld are magical beings, belonging to an omnipresent universe, existing somewhere beneath the depths of the ocean and the ends of the earth. The Underworld is a dynamic environment, home to the Fields of Elysium- where some fortunate souls were granted admission to this virtual paradise, while others found eternal damnation in the darkness of Tartarus.

Its gates keep out the grievances a soul may face during their time in the physical realm; and upon entering Underworld, leave your afflictions behind and become fully immersed in the magic of the Underworld.

Join us for WAVES Presents: Underworld as we attempt to channel the otherworldly spirits and transfigure them into a production of light and sound; bringing them to life. We will be constructing an under-worldly environment of our own- a place where all are welcome, and can momentarily leave our worries at the doors, allowing ourselves to temporarily escape from our everyday realities.

Happening one night only, this event will feature aerial performances, two stages, custom made immersive visuals in a projection-mapped environment, showcasing a variety of electronic rhythms to satisfy the tastes of many. With multiple art installations, some of the most powerful sound (by AC AUDIO), and a shining bill of local talent, the experience of Underworld will be unlike any other. Please be cautious if you experience photosensitivity, as this environment is immersive.
