BOSTON ROLLER DERBY: The Home Teams Strike Back!
ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, DON'T MISS THE RETURN OF THE HOME TEAMS
We hope you all enjoyed your summers and are ready for another round of Boston Derby Dames action. In the three months since our home teams met, they've been bulking up, learning new tricks, and spinning their wheels in excitement for the first game of the fall season, right here at Shriners Auditorium in Wilmington, MA.
Doors open at 4PM; find your seats before 5PM or you'll risk missing the whistle for the first game, where the Cosmonaughties dance once more with the Nutcrackers on the flat track.
The Cosmos yielded the dance floor last season when the Nutcrackers beat them 294-123. But it's a new year and a new spin of the Earth, and the skaters of the Spacebrain have no intention of giving up so easy this time.
And after that dance party, we recommend getting a snack and a beer and getting pumped up for the lyrical skating of the Wicked Pissahs and the Arkham Horrors at 7 PM. Will the Pissahs reign victorious? Will the Horrors send the girls from Revere into another dimension? You won't know unless you stick around.
General admission tickets are $16 for adults, $12 for kids 6-13. (Kids under 6 are, as always, admitted free!) Trackside tickets get you the best seats in the house, closest to the action! All tickets include admission to both games, and admission to the after party with the Dames, on the premises, and Shriners offers free parking to attendees.
Doors open at 4PM
5PM - First bout (Nutcrackers vs. Cosmonaughties)
7PM - Second bout (Arkham Horrors vs. Wicked Pissahs)
After the games, head on over to the Fez Room to see the MVP awards presented and to get down with the Dames on the dance floor!
No refunds or exchanges, sorry! Online ticket sales end Thursday night at 11:59PM, so don't dally!
