KRFU Fishbowl
The legendary FISHBOWL is back!!!
What's a Fishbowl Tournament? Imagine a tournament where rugby players show up, put their names into a fishbowl, teams are drawn randomly, and the games begin -- That's a Fishbowl. The idea is to simply play rugby, hang out, and have a fun, pre-season get-together with ruggers from all over the region.
The types of games we play and what form they take will be determined by how many players show up. The day will of course include rugby, but will also include games of fun, fitness, and skill.
This is an old, highly-anticipated tournament that hasn't been put on for years. No one seems to know much of the history behind it and no one knows how long it's been going on. But those that do recall know that this tourney, and the afterparty that follows, is an absolute riot.

TICKET PRICES
VIP - $30 - Player registration plus T-Shirt and Afterparty VIP-only specials
General - $15 - Individual Player registration for the field games
Afterparty Specials Only - $10 - Afterparty VIP-only specials at the club's bar, the Horse & Cow in Bermerton. (not available via online sales)
Players can register and pay on-site at the field -- Buying tickets in advance is NOT required. On-Field entry fees must be paid in CASH ONLY.
Spectators can come watch the field games for free, and individuals do not need a VIP pass to attend the afterparty.
WHO CAN PLAY
Registration is open to men and women rugby players, ages 18 and above. Teams will be randomized and everyone will be required to be on their best behavior -- this tourney is about having fun.
SCHEDULE
8:30 to 9:30 AM -- open registration, tickets available at the gate.
9:30 AM -- team drawings begin
10:00 AM -- field games commence
Afterparty immediately following the Fishbowl Games - probably 6:00PM at the latest, and will continue until they kick us out!
AFTERPARTY
After the field games, the Fishbowl Games continue at our 21+ afterparty at the Horse & Cow in Bremerton with Rugby Songs, our first ever Beer Pong tournament, Food and Drink Specials, and the usual debauchery, courtesy of your favorite rugby players. The Fishbowl afterparty is open to the public (21 and over, of course) -- Get your VIP pass early.
Everyone: Be safe. Don't drink and drive -- the Horse & Cow does have free shuttles for groups and we will be working with them. Contact the Horse & Cow if you have an questions. If you're going to drink, make sure you have a sober driver.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
Players: Bring your CIPP number to registration. You can look up your CIPP number at USARugby.org.
There is no alcohol allowed at the fields, and no tailgating.
MERCH AND ETC.
Food, drink, t-shirts, etc. will be available at the field. All sales at the field will be CASH ONLY.
TICKET AVAILABILITY
You can buy tickets at Brown Paper Tickets, from a KRFU member, or at the gate. You can avoid the (small) Brown Paper Tickets service charge by buying direct or at the gate.
