Looking Back & Onward: SEM in 1986 & 2018
The S.E.M Ensemble's annual concert at Paula Cooper Gallery will begin this year by looking at the close collaboration between Petr Kotik and Ben Neill in the 1980's. Both Kotik's "Wilsie Bridge," and Neill's "Money Talk" were staples of SEMs repertoire during that time. Next to these 80's compositions, SEM will present a series of current works by Kotik, Neill, Miya Masaoka, and Michael J. Schumacher.
