Rosebud is band of veteran musicians from the Grateful Dead scene including Scott Cooper (China Cats), Mark Corsolini (Spirit of 76), Lachlan Kane (Edge of the West) and Fred Rodriguez and Andy Birchett (Three-Legged Dawg). The band has a rockin, danceable, jazzy take on the Dead's repertoire and mixes in some Dylan, Beatles and originals inspired by the Dead. New Orleans' Offbeat Magazine wrote "Cooper can write material worthy of the bands he loves." Indeed, his first CD reached #5 on the national jam band radio chart and continues to get airplay on KPIG radio.
