Baby its cold outside and with the holidays in full swing, this is a perfect way to spend the evening. Bring yourself and bring a song and if you love to sing, this Soiree is even better- it's a dream come true! Set in Pangea's salon-like cabaret room with a Baldwin Baby Grand nestled in the corner, its hard not to feel the rooms Dorothy Parker charm and warm embracing energy. This, coupled with two of the most sought-after jazz accompanist in the city- Iris Ornig, on bass and Takaaki Otomo, on piano, make this a holiday event you wont want to miss!

Richie Williams, Host - is a contagiously funny, Poet, Singer, Jazz Historian and Raconteur who seems to carry the entire American Songbook in his hip pocket and is often referred to as The downtown Bobby Short. Richie's voice and style echo the mellow tones of both, Nat and his brother Freddie Cole. This, coupled with his charismatic charm, funny-bone good humor and off the cuff style, serve up a fun filled and edgy performance that leaves The Song Book Smiling!

Richie has performed at numerous venues beginning his career at Barry Harris' legendary Jazz Culture Theatre. He has also performed at many venues in Manhattan including, The Triad, Dont Tell Mama and St. Peters (The Jazz Church). He is a mainstay in the Big Apples thriving jazz cabaret scene including, Thalias, Zebs, Kitanos, and Cobi Narita's Jazz Forum.
