SOA Flute Orchestra's "Festive Flutes" Concert
The Song of the Angels Flute Orchestra under the direction of Charles Fernandez is proud to present their Festive Flute Concert to kick off your holiday season!
Shaul Ben Meir, long time principal flutist with the Detroit Symphony and prolific arranger of flute ensemble repertoire, is the guest conductor. Many of the selections include his arrangements along with beautiful harp performed by Paulette Miller. Also of interest is the very large flute collection of Roland Tso, with the rare Double Contrabass and F Contrabass flutes.
Please join us for many great holiday favorites including samplings from the Nutcracker, Greensleeves, Silent Night, Jingle Bells, French holiday carols and more! Holiday treats will be served during intermission.
We look forward to local area flutists joining us on stage for our closing number - "Jingle Bells!"
