Evanston Escola/Orquestra de Samba
Come for a preview of Evanston Escola de Samba's fall classes at the Music Institute of Chicago (starting Sept. 15). Workshops in Brazilian percussion and samba dance start at 5:30pm (instruments provided, no experience necessary). Then enjoy a performance by 2008 International Brazilian Press Award winner, Orquestra de Samba (ODS) at 6:30pm. This event is all-ages.
