The Legacy is proud to present the regional premiere of the new Broadway musical, "Summer of Love!"
When a runaway bride discovers the counter- culture revolution in 1967 San Francisco, she learns to Make Your Own Kind of Music! Woven around a songbook of classic 60s hits by some of the most influential artists of the love generation: The Mamas and the Papas, Donovan, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane and many more. The gray days of winter will melt away with this groovy, flower-power, feel-good musical!
Please note: "Summer of Love" is a groovy, flower-power musical which contains adult themes consistent with topics in the public consciousness in 1967, including recreational drug use (the song "Crystal Blue Persuasion"). Younger children will appreciate the music, color and comedy of the show, and not pick up on these themes, however we suggest parental discretion in children's attendance. One of the great things about theatre is that it can provide a wonderful opportunity to open a dialogue with young people.
