Nashville Hits Presents: Saturday Stories and Songs, Tony Arata, Al Anderson, Chris Wallin
Tony Arata:  was born in Savannah, Georgia and grew up on nearby Tybee Island.

While studying for a journalism degree from Georgia Southern University, he began
performing his original songs in local bands. In 1986, he and wife Jaymi moved to
Nashville where his unique, soulful style began to get the attention of people like Allen
Reynolds and Garth Brooks. Garth to date has recorded seven of Tonys songs, and The
Dance won song of the year at The Academy of Country Music and received both a Country
Music Association and a Grammy nomination, as well as a most performed song in Radio
and Records Magazine.

He has also had No. 1 records with Here I Am for Patty Loveless, Im Holding My Own
for Lee Roy Parnell, and Dreaming With My Eyes Open for Clay Walker. Other artists who
have recorded his songs include Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Trisha Yearwood, Delbert
McClinton, Don Williams, Reba McEntire, Suzy Bogguss, and Hal Ketchum.
Tony has also done three solo albums featuring new songs, covers, and guest appearances by
many of Nashvilles finest musicians as well as folks who have recorded his songs, including
Garth, Patty, and Lee Roy.

Al Anderson:   is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Between 1971 and the early 1990s, he was the lead guitarist in the rock band NRBQ, also releasing several solo albums. He also played electric guitar on Jonathan Edwards's 1973 album Have a Good Time for Me. He was a member of the Wildweeds in the late 1960s.

In the 1990s, Anderson shifted his focus to country music, writing hit songs for such artists as Carlene Carter, Vince Gill, Diamond Rio and Trisha Yearwood, as well as Tim McGraw's number 1 hit "The Cowboy in Me" and several album cuts. Anderson has also released six solo albums.

Chris Wallin:  With his unique gift for finding the extraordinary in ordinary life, Chris Wallin has established himself as one of Nashville's most sought-after songwriters.

For years, Wallin has topped the charts with classics-in-the-making for the industry's biggest stars: Love Me If You Can by Toby Keith, "Don't Blink" by Kenny Chesney, People Loving People by Garth Brooks, Im Tryin for Trace Adkins, Something To Be Proud Of and Speed by Montgomery Gentry and many more.

Artists who have cut Chriss songs include Lorrie Morgan, Garth Brooks, Montgomery Gentry, Sammy Kershaw, Tommy Shane Steiner, Trace Adkins, Michael Peterson, Anthony Smith, Jeffrey Steele, Confederate Railroad, Neal McCoy, Brian McComas, Brad Paisley, Joe Diffie, Diamond Rio, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith and many many more.
