Ken Risling and Sherry Lea Jones: Glaser Center singer-songwriter showcase
Winner of the West Coast Songwriters 'Best Song of the Year,' Ken Risling's songs have been given national airplay. From lighthearted valentines to the wrenching account of a friend's death, his songs are known for their singable, concise, straight-to-the-heart lyrics, and beautiful melodies that stay in your head long after the show is over. Sherry Lea Jones is first and foremost an amazing voice. On her CDs 'RIver of Love' and 'Boundless,' she delivers her own unique blend of folk, rock, blues, and gospel, with soaring vocals that spring from a deep emotional well. Hers is the voice of an angel with a bit of the Devil on the side.
