SPF3 presents choreographer Ishika Seth and U Dance Electra
Ishika Seth presents a series of works exploring thoughts of identity, sexuality, co-dependancy, nostalgia, immigration and support. Also features guest choreographers Suzanne Beahrs and PJ Johnson. U Dance Electra presents presents Emptee V. a sassy, sharp and vibrant interpretation of the MTV music videos from the Eighties. The pulsating New Wave/Electro music by The Normal & The System, the flashy bright costumes, runway set and striking yet at times minimal choreography give off the decadence of self indulgence and will transport the audience to a time when the Western world was more flamboyant, using boom boxes as props as many people did in the Eighties. Emptee V. is fashioned with love and fascination for the 1980s.
