The Portuguese Consul is a man named Aristides de Sousa Mendes. But Portugals Prime Minister Salazar has forbidden its diplomats to open Portugals borders to undesirables specifically Jews.Sousa Mendes jeopardizes his career and familys safety and prepares visas night and day, signing thousands of passports.
