ISOBELL ALBUM RELEASE SHOW
Dark and moody, often veering into rapturous territory, isobell's new album Sea Spells pulls the listener into the oceanic depths of the band's collective grief and joy--often personal, yet unflinching. The band 2009 release Maproom received accolades for its 'striking experimentation' and dreamy atmospheres, and with their latest release, isobell continues explore this vein. Fans of Cat Power, Mazzy Star and PJ Harvey take note. Joining isobell on this night are Olas, enchanting flamenco and globally-minded folk ensemble, and The Reverie Machine, progressive songs helmed by singer Meghan Yates' indelible voice.
