2013 US Air Guitar Nashville Qualifer
The 2013 Air Guitar Qualifying Competition is coming to Nashville- are you ready?
On June 22nd, 2013 at 8pm at 12th and Porter, contestants from across the nation will flock to Nashville to compete for the Southeast's most prized title: King (or Queen) of Southern Air Guitar! Prepare yourself for a unique night combining music, pageantry and comedy as folks from all backgrounds transform into larger-than-life Air Guitar icons. Hosted by reigning Miss Tennessee Brenna Mader and featuring an all-star set of guest judges, this will be a night you never forget! The fun doesn't end when contestants put down their Air Guitar; stick around for a special guest musical performance after the show.
Best of all, you will be rocking out for a great cause: 100% of proceeds will be donated to a local non-profit named Notes for Notes. Notes for Notes will use those proceeds to enhance the musical education of less fortunate children throughout Nashville by building and staffing music studios at Boys and Girls Clubs. Think about your after school haunt only way, way better.
Besides total bragging rights, the winner will receive airfare to the semi-finals in Washington DC with a chance to advance to the National Finals. Second and Third place qualify to compete in DC as well. The winner of the US Air Guitar Finals will represent the United States in Finland as the US seeks to repeat last years 1st and 2nd place finishes.
