Movies in the Courtyard: Duck and Cover
Join us at the Glaser Center for the second of three fun-filled, summer-and-fall movies in the Courtyard. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., so feel free to bring dinner and come early, or enjoy a snack and a drink as we provide appropriately themed pre-show entertainment. Tonight, we hilarious and surprising collection of Cold War era "public Service" documentaries, including the classic 'Duck and Cover,' the animated short in which a friendly turtle explains how to use your desk to escape a nuclear blast, and 1951's 'How to Survive and Atomic Attack,' featuring a young Walter Mathieu. The movie will include cartoons and shorts. This is an outdoor show, so be sure to bring a blanket or a jacket.
