Following in her family's legendary footsteps, Chaunte Wayans has proven that funny is in her genes. As humbled as she is to be a part of the family legacy, she proudly represents this new generation of Wayans' making it's mark in Hollywood.
Born in New York City and raised in New Jersey, Chaunte Wayans is more than her famous last name. I've lived between two different worlds my entire life. I grew up with the famous last name, minus the lavish lifestyle. Chaunte blows away audiences with a unique ability to invite them into her unconventional life while being very relatable. Her comedy often revolves around her experiences as a lesbian and how its helped her see both sides of a relationship, whether masculine or feminine. My life is an open book. says Chaunte, From growing up, trying to keep up with the famous last name and lifestyle, coming out of the closet, to battling and surviving the addiction to alcohol and drugs.
Since pursuing a career in stand up comedy Chaunte has toured nationally with Russell Peters, Katt Williams, David Alan Grier, and her uncles Marlon, Shawn, and Damon Wayans and has fulfilled a dream to perform at New York's famous Madison Square Garden numerous times.
Chaunte is a featured cast member on MTVs hit show Nick Cannon Presents: Wild N Out and was also featured on TLCs Trading Spaces. Most recently, Chaunte has appeared on Bounce TVs Off the Chain and NickToons animated series ThugaBoo. She can be also seen on Katt Williams special Kattpacalypse, films Hollywood Misconceptions and Dance Flick.
When she is not touring or filming, Chaunte likes to spend time volunteering by feeding the homeless, performing stand up at women's shelters, and giving speeches on bullying at high schools.
Karen Rontowskis fast-paced, quirky and charmingly optimistic comedy has been featured in clubs, TV, radio, and at corporate events all around the world. Her stand-up showcases endearing, self-effacing and intelligent characters that catch you by surprise every time. Karen uniquely blends comedy with her experience as a Paranormal Investigator, Tarot and reiki master.
She is fascinated with the afterlife is convinced she will someday have a near death experience because, I never finish anything.
She explains, Sometimes a ghost will just do the same thing over and over in life. That's why I want to move into a house that is haunted by a maid."
Karen has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, Sirius Satellite Radio, Comics Unleashed, Comedy.com, Live at Gotham, Comedy Central and Mysteries of the Unexplained. You can see her new special called Ridiculous Me on VidAngel.com.
After performing and hosting at paranormal conventions all over the world she created the hilariously odd web series Paranormal Karen where she has fun reporting from haunted and obscure places everywhere.
Karens comedy is now featured in the new line of greeting cards called Frank and Funny sold at Target stores everywhere and is the comedy writer for Haunted Magazine. She is a regular on the Bob and Tom Radio Show and is a featured performer on their CD.
Show is hosted by Big Tom McClain from the KVTA Morning Show - News Talk 1590 KVTA
