This all-star ensemble performs John Coltranes epic recording, A Love Supreme & Meditations. Experience a live performance that is sure to create a musical memory that will celebrate the joy, spirit and genius of Coltranes masterpieces. Drummer/Band Leader John Hanrahan has been presenting A Love Supreme throughout the country for over 15 years. Performing traditional and Electric versions (adding guitar) allows both performer and listener to extend beyond spiritual boundaries. We are excited to share a traditional quartet with the searing guitar work of Santa Cruz's own Matt Hartle. With Terry Shields (Painted Mandolin), bass; Danny Eisenberg (Mother Hips), keyboard; and Jeff Hobbs (Stu Allen), saxophone.
