Orchestra Miami proudly presents Tough Turkey in the Big City: A Feathered Tale. This Thanksgiving classic, with music by Bruce Adolphe and story by Louise Gikow, is a delight for children of all ages! This holiday treat is the first concert in Orchestra Miami's Nicklaus Children's Pinecrest Outpatient Center Family Fun Series.

What happens when a turkey from the sticks meets a Park Avenue Pigeon? With the feel of an old-time radio story, Tough Turkey in the Big City follows the comic blunders of Tom Turkey, who leaves the farm to try his luck in the big city. Theres a close call with a menacing chef, a tussle at the Turkey Club, a brief romance with a pigeon, and a happy mix-up at the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Its a big-hearted story of a plucky bird with a bold idea that leads him to a place he never expected. The story is performed by the chamber ensemble of Orchestra Miami, along with a special guest narrator and a pair of dancers who portray Tom and his friends!

The performance takes place on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the beautiful Banyan Bowl in Pinecrest Gardens, 11000 SW 57 Avenue, Pinecrest, FL 33156. Tickets purchased in advance start at just $10 for kids ages 3-17; $12 for Seniors aged 65 & up and $15 for Adults. At the door, tickets are $12 for Kids, $15 for Seniors and $18 for Adults.
