Andy Irons Kissed by God - a film by Teton Gravity Research
Sonoma County has been waiting for the big screen showing of this film. It will be playing one night only at the historic Raven Performing Arts Theater on November 15th. Dont miss this opportunity! Andy Irons touched the lives of many and continues to do so through this film. His family and friends bravely tell the story of his struggles and triumphs while he traveled the world as a professional surfer, suffering with bipolar disorder and going through all the highs and lows that come with it. Andy was also suffering with an opioid addiction as he struggled to find balance within the internal chaos. This is an all too familiar struggle in America at the current time. The Andy Irons Foundation was created by his wife and family to raise awareness surrounding mental illness and substance abuse. They are currently creating programs to help the youth. Proceeds of this showing will be made to the Andy Irons Foundation.
The Live Like Caleb Scholarship Foundation will be joining us in the lobby with merchandise for sale to benefit their scholarship program for both Healdsburg and El Molino high school students. Caleb Rummonds was a local surfer and beloved member of the Healdsburg community who the scholarships are in name of. Please come join us for an evening of honoring these two wonderful causes. Doors open at 7, show starts at 7:45.
