TPR Cinema Tuesdays Series: Out of Africa
The 2013 TPR Cinema Tuesdays Series presents "Out of Africa." Sydney Pollack directed Meryl Streep and Robert Redford in this multiple-award-winning film about a Danish plantation owner in British East Africa (later Kenya).The emotional film is loosely based on author Karen Blixen's semi-autobiographical novel, written under the pen name Isak Dinesen.
Rated PG
Tickets are available for a suggested price of $10 for TPR Members and $12 for non-members. Proceeds benefit Texas Public Radio.
