SA Mastersingers present Handel's Messiah
Messiah was first performed in Dublin on 13 April 1742 and received its London premiere nearly a year later. After an initially modest public reception, the oratorio gained in popularity, eventually becoming one of the best-known and most frequently performed choral works in Western music and a beloved Christmas and Easter traditions.
The San Antonio Mastersingers are proud to bring this masterpiece to life at two separate concerts this 2018 holiday season:
December 2 - 3:00pm at University United Methodist Church
December 2 - 7:00pm at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church
