"Signing Songs: the Making of D-PAN Music Videos"
Michigan filmmaker Gary Glaser explores D-PAN, the Deaf Performing Artists Network, who are working to bridge the existing gaps between the deaf/hard of hearing community, the entertainment industry, and the public at large.
D-PAN is an emergent community in its own right- a network of deaf and hard of hearing, performers and professionals; their families and friends; media industry leaders and concerned citizens interested in creating cultural equality.
D-PAN produces high quality media content specifically to serve deaf audiences. Their work with prominent singers like Christina Aguilera and John Mayer will change the way you think of music videos.
