BLUES @ JOHNNY K's Concert & Dining Experience with THE MIMI NOWAK PROJECT in Concert
Attention all Blues Music lovers! SunRex E Group in association with JOHNNY K's management present the unique and popular monthly BLUES @ JOHNNY K's Concert and Dining Experience that invites you to celebrate life with live music at the new and comfortable JOHNNY K's, located at 1030 Raritan Rd in Clark, NJ. Acclaimed blues music artists bring to you a listening experience that promises to captivate on the second Thursday of each month at this elegant venue. The concert experience includes a choice of special dinner entrees, dessert and a beverage. Additional bar service and event drink specials are available.
The concert on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 7pm features an evening with the alluring vocalist Mimi Nowak and her accomplished Mimi Nowak Project ensemble in concert.
The Mimi Nowak Project was started in October of 2009 by Mimi Nowak with the help of guitarist Steve Sadowski with the intention of forming a band that would be a creative project.
It didn't take long to find the right group of musicians who have the same artistic interests. To complete the lineup, they have Paul Levinsky on drums, Rich Mehlhorn on bass and Dan Kiely on sax & flute. All are veteran players with many years experience and artistic ideas to share. The group has come to be known for their unique arrangements of classic blues and rock songs infused with a soulful sound and energetic performances.
The Mimi Nowak Project has recently completed and is performing original material that has been well received by audiences. The band has also recently been chosen as the opening act for International Blues Guitarist & Recording Artist, Ana Popovic, at a major venue in the New York area.
Mimi Nowak Project performances have been proven to be artistically intoxicating experiences that offer the audience a unique expression of life! Dance if you must!
Blues @ Johnny K's concert & dinner tickets are priced at $29.95 per person. Showtime is from 7pm to 9pm. Seating and dinner service starts at 6:30pm and continues during the program. The staff at Johnny K's welcomes you to this special monthly music concert and dinner event experience. The venue offers the perfect ambience for a relaxing monthly evening of good music, good food, good friends and good times. Johnny K's is conveniently located off of GSP Parkway Exit # 135.
