Columbia Choirs

Columbia Choirs, an international award winning, community-based family of choirs trains singers, pre-school through adult. Talented singers receive exceptional international high quality training, both vocal and musicianship in Columbia's select choirs, as well as a consistently proven tradition of excellence in performance experiences.

Two of Columbia's Choirs will perform a combination of sacred/classical and familiar secular holiday music. Performing will be the Columbia Vocal Ensemble, a mixed SATB choir of experienced singers in 9th grade through college age, and Concord Chamber Choir, a mixed adult choir of experienced singers college age and above. Both of these choirs perform in Columbia Choirs' concert series and tour regionally, nationally and soon internationally.

Columbia Choirs founder-artistic director Steve Stevens is one of the most experienced conductors of community-based children's choirs in the United States. A professional singer, conductor, adjudicator, clinician, arranger and composer, he founded Columbia Choirs in 1984, adding additional choirs through the years. Choirs under his direction have consistently won international acclaim and performed around the world. They have appeared on television here and abroad, sung for a President of the U.S., the Pope and for members of the British Royal Family.
