Take Jack & The Quake City Jug Band
As experienced singers and musicians, the nine members of Sonoma County-based ensemble TAKE JACK, offer an inspired performance with spot-on stellar harmonies, great spirit, and raucous fun. Their repertoire includes original compositions and arrangements informed by folk, classical, rock and jazz traditions, influenced by a shared history as choral singers, and running the gamut from a cappella to various combinations of guitar, mandolin, keyboard, harmonica, harmonium, banjo, drums, toy piano and bass.
TAKE JACK includes Clare Broussard, JT Devine, Robin Eschner, Bill Horvitz, Dennis Hysom, Shari Kovner, Chris Smith, Mike VanDordrecht and Gene Wright.
Quake City Jug Band is Natasha Haugnes, John Tuttle, Steve Scott and Myron Grossman. They play early American blues and swing, and some other songs that fit with our musical mayhem sensibilities.
