Lieder!
For the last concert of our 20th season, the Chorale is offering a special program featuring German Lieder, or art songs, from many beloved composers -- including Brahms, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schumann, and more.
This concert was inspired by the passing in 2012 of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, the renowned German baritone who is widely hailed as one of the great twentieth-century performers of lieder. The Chorale is honored to pay him this tribute.
