BUNKED! The Musical
It's the Canadian premiere of this camp musical comedy.
It's cutting edge pop theatre at its finest: up beat, catchy and soulful songs paired with a wildly funny and emotionally charged script about five hormone addled teen camp counselors.
Imagine Glee at summer camp - except uncensored and totally NOT auto-tuned!
Twin sister and brother fall for the same hot guy - and he could go either way: she's never been kissed, he's looking for a boyfriend, and the subject of their mutual affection seems to be ambiguously playing both fields. Teen pregnancy, dark secrets, sexual identity, cheating, hunks, hotties it's all here along with fireside sing-alongs, roasted marshmallows and sunburns. It's the summer after high school and these camp counselors need counselors of their own as they look towards, and try to avoid, adulthood. And just where are the kids and who's watching them? They'll be lucky to get out of Camp Timberlake alive if these self-absorbed counselors don't stop obsessing over themselves and each other.

UNIQUE SEATING EXPERIENCE: The audience can join the camp! Special floor seating on sleeping bags with pillows puts the audience right in the set. All the seating is intimate and close to the action, but for those willing to immerse themselves in the camp experience, they can lounge on the edge of the campfire on their own bag or one of ours! A truly unique theatre and camp experience in one!
DEBUTING AN ALL YOUTH PRODUCTION TEAM; artists with a fresh take on modern musicals! Director, Musical Director, cast, crew and band are all young newly trained theatre twenty-somethings destined for greatness!
WARNING! No children are harmed in this production, but you might not want them to see it. Strong language and mature themes.
