Courtly Dance and Music of Renaissance Italy
The Early Music Youth Academy, a program of Seattle Historical Arts for Kids, teams up with the elegantly costumed folk of Seattle Early Dance to present courtly dance of the Renaissance. Graceful choreographies reconstructed and taught by Anna Mansbridge meet the elegant sounds of our skilled teen players on instruments of the time including viols, violins, and harp, directed by Shulamit Kleinerman. Appropriate for all ages, this program lasts about an hour.
