We're all familiar with the Real Housewives. We've all seen the Recap episodes where they sit on the couch and discuss the season with Andy Cohen. But this time, its going to be different!

Seattle Modern Opera Company and OperaMuse present: The Real Housewives of Sparta. Originally composed by Jacques Offenbach in 1864, La Belle Helene was a farce on the story of Helen of Troy. The Real Housewives of Sparta, adapted by Mike Heitmann, is an opera about Helen, a Real Housewife of Sparta, finding happiness outside of her marriage to Menelaus, a celebrated war hero who also happens to be king. Andy Calchas hosts this special recap episode where Paris, on the search for the most beautiful woman in the world, has come looking for Helen. With Andy Calchas help, he is able to persuade Menelaus to a contest, where Paris can win a night with Helen. Drama and hilarity ensues when they all discover Paris intentions!
