A Salon Night in Paris
The internationally-acclaimed chamber ensemble, REBEL will offer a program of baroque and classical chamber music in homage to the famed 18th-century Parisian salon concerts (known as the Concerts Spirituel) with music by Telemann, Vivaldi, Philidor, Mondonville, Mozart & Couperin performed on period instruments at the historic and acoustically-excellent Bedford Presbyterian Church in Bedford, NY. The instrumentalists in this program will be Matthias Maute, flute and recorder; Jörg-Michael Schwarz and Karen Marie Marmer, violins; John Moran, cello & viola da gamba and Dongsok Shin, harpsichord.
