Thunder Road (2018)

The Gardena Cinema is proud to celebrate Art House Theater Day 2018 (September 23) with a special one-day engagement of the new movie, THUNDER ROAD (2018).

This critically-acclaimed feature film debut of actor/writer/director Jim Cummings is a funny and tragic portrait of Jim Arnaudfather, husband, police officerin the aftermath of his mother's death. Based on the hit short film from 2016, which won the top prize at Sundance, this feature film adaptation has already screened at festivals around the world including SXSW and Cannes (ACID sidebar). It was just released theatrically throughout France.

THUNDER ROAD will be released in the US during October. Join us for this advance screening!

This matinee show will be preceded by a short film (TBD).
