ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Staci Smith has been a publicist for over 16 years with a specialty in working with arts and nonprofit clients, including Bonham's Auction House, the Galleries at Hermès, Cedar Lake Dance Company, and Knopf Publishing. She regularly places clients in national outlets such as The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Associated Press, and NPR as well as local or niche outlets. Her goal is to not simply seek out status symbol press, but the type of publicity that will actually help her clients reach their desired audience and help their organizations grow. Stacis secret weapon is exhaustive research. 90% of the job is finding the right media contact to share your story with!
