Max O'Rourke Trio
In the summer of 2018, Max O'Rourke (Rhythm Future Quartet, Daisy Castro Quartet, John Jorgensen Quintet) released his debut solo album, Disquiet. On this collection, O'Rourke draws on his roots in gypsy jazz and also marks his debut recordings playing electric guitar, referencing blues, pop and rock sounds and exploring impressionist leanings. These original compositions explore the ways music can help us find ease amidst life's disquieting moments.
