Sleeping Giant Folk Music Society Concert Series
ABOUT SGFMS
The Sleeping Giant Folk Music Society has been presenting live folk music in Thunder Bay for 17 years. We are pleased to announce that William Prince will open our 18th season on September 22, 2018 at the Port Arthur Polish Hall. Doors open at 7:00 pm; music starts at 8:00.
Tickets are $30 in advance. If the show is not sold out, tickets at the door are $30 for SGFMS members and $35 for non-members.
ABOUT WILLIAM PRINCE
William Prince's first album, Earthly Days, debuted in 2015. Since then he has won Aboriginal Artist of the Year at the 2016 Western Canadian Music Awards, Contemporary Roots Album of the Year at the 2017 Juno Awards, and was invited to open for Neil Young this past July.
Stemming from his experiences and the people he has met at home and on the road, there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy in these songs from his heart and his imagination.
