The Heather Pierson Acoustic Trio
The Heather Pierson Acoustic Trio are rare bunch-three musicians from diverse backgrounds. Their songs bring to life the sounds of New Orleans and Appalachia.

Heather Pierson (lead vocals, acoustic guitar, tenor banjo, piano) is an award-winning singer, pianist, songwriter, and performer.  She has an angelic voice and composes songs wise-beyond-her-years.

Davy Sturtevant (cornet, dobro, fiddle, mandolin, harmony vocals) is a veteran touring artist, producer, engineer, song-writer, and performer.  He has a gorgeous tenor voice.  He has a witty, thoughtful, engaging musical presence.

Shawn Nadeau (bass, harmony vocals) brings a wide spectrum of unique rhythmic and melodic sensibilities ranging from rockabilly, reggae, and jazz.

The Promise is Hope will open for this trio:  Ashley and Eric LEsperance (The Promise is Hope) first felt their musical & personal chemistry at a song swap in 2013. In 2014, they got married, released their debut album and began establishing themselves as one of New Englands finest emerging acts. With tightly woven harmonies, two guitars, and intimate songwriting, they present a beautifully moving, inspired & connected live performance. They were nominated 2018 Roots Act of the Year (New England Music Awards) after debuting their sophomore album, Every Seed Must Die, a set of soul-cleansing songs simmered in collective courageThe songwriting on this album is exceptional (No Depression).
