Over There - Remembering WWI Lowell Philharmonic Concert
Come Listen to a celebration of music played by the Lowell Philharmonic in commemoration of the 100 year armistice of WWI. We have an incredible line up of music of all variety from the time of WWI, the Schubert's "Spring" Symphony, and an ever popular Downton Abby Medley. The program includes:
A Downton Abbey Medley Elgar Enigma Variations- W.N and Nimrod 1st "Spring" Symphony(Schumann ) Two English Idylls (Butterworth) Tunes from the Trenches Colonel Bogey
Come dressed from the time Downton Abbey style and compete in our costume contest with the chance to win 2 season tickets to our remaining concerts!
The concert will be performed in the beautiful Chelmsford Center for the Arts. Please come early to be sure to get a good seat.
The Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra is a volunteer orchestra made up of advanced and aspiring musicians. We strive to make classical music affordable for all people and are very passionate about the music we create. We pride ourselves in bringing affordable classical music to the people of Lowell and its surrounding communities.
