RAM Presents: "Modern Americana" @ Sage
The opening main program, Modern Americana celebrates quintessential American sounds from this century and last. RAM Players soprano Risa Renae Harman, clarinetist Thomas Piercy, cellist Kate Dillingham, and pianist Tristan McKay team up to present you with music by Ned Rorem (in honor of his 95th birthday), Conrad Tao, and RAM Composers David Fetherolf and Kamalam Sankaram along with a special performance of the Bernstein Clarinet Sonata to celebrate his centennial year.
