You'll hear inspired melodies by Kreek, brilliant suspensions by Miskinis, and Esenvalds cinematic A Drop in the Ocean inspired by Mother Theresa. Our centerpiece is Requiem by Herbert Howells, profoundly moving in its beauty and spiritual anguish, offering hope and reassurance that those who die in the Lord find eternal rest. Music by local composers Edie Hill and Rene Clausen, and Nystedt's Be Not Afraid round out a lustrous program to set your soul soaring.
Magnum Chorum will perform under the direction of new Artistic Director Dwight Jilek.
