Dot Jazz: Mixcla
Greater Ashmont Main Street and Mandorla Music Series are very pleased to co-present the 2018-2019 bimonthly Dot Jazz Series at Peabody Hall in the The Parish of All Saints Ashmont Dorchester Boston. Doors open at 7pm and the $15 ticket includes dessert, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. Wine will be available as well.
On March 14, we'll present MIXCLA, a trio led by composer/pianist and singer Zahili Gonzalez Zamora with Gerson Esteban Lazo Quiroga on bass and Takafumi Nikaido on percussion. MIXCLA combines sounds from the mountains of Chile, the traditions of Japan, and the fires of Cuba, to achieve a truly unique Latin jazz experience.
