-This adaptation of Shakespeare's The Tempest features the works of Pelham Humfrey, John Weldon, Matthew Locke, John Banister and Jean- Baptiste Lully among others. Led by Ian Watson from the harpsichord, the Henry Purcell Society of Boston will re-create the work yet again- using music from the 1674 versions and adding music curated by historian James Winn to showcase our phenomenal musicians.
