Bill Staines, one of folk musics most durable and beloved singers, opens the 46th season of The Sounding Board. With 26 recordings and more than 300 original songs, Staines music has been recorded by Peter, Paul, and Mary, Makem and Clancy, Nanci Griffith, Glen Yarborough, and many others. His music is sung at campfires and folk music gatherings, in homes and churches, all around the country.
