Berta Rojas
Berta Rojas ranks among todays foremost classical guitarists, and is renowned for her flawless technique and innate musicality. She has been praised as guitarist extraordinaire by the Washington Post and by Classical Guitar magazine as ambassador of the classical guitar. Berta has performed on major stages in dozens of countries around the world. She takes her audiences on a colorful journey of sound, embracing new works by composers in diverse genres, as well as performing traditional works for classical guitar.
Her program will include "Suite in A Minor" by Manual Ponce; "Suite Americana" by Vincent Lindsey Clark; "Homage" by Baden Powell; "Asa Branca" by Gonzaga and Teixeira; and pieces by Agustin Pio Barrios Mangore.
