Tesserae presents: Chiaroscuro
Guest violinist, Elicia Silverstein, and the students of the Colburn Early Music Ensemble join Tesserae for an evening of Italian Baroque music. This exciting program of virtuosic instrumental music delves into Baroque ideals of contrast: between large ensemble and trio sonata, softness and loudness, darkness and light. Featuring music by Corelli, Valentini, Ragazzi, Geminiani, and Vivaldi.
