The Indy is alive & 'First Thursdays' continue April 4th at The Independent with a 5-6pm 'Happy Hour Tasting' followed by our Dinner seating at 6pm. ''Santa Cruz on Fire" inspires the evening meal featuring Uncie Ro's Wood Fired Pizza restaurant in collaboration with 'Indy Allstar' vendors rallying to create a dynamic feast all forged in a wood fired oven!

Only 125 Dinner Tickets are available. $25 for adult entry, $10 for kids, and $20 for Students, Military and Sand City residents who can access the discounted rate of $20 online only and will have to present ID at the door. $30 at the door for all adults so buy your tix early online! (Specific Vegetarian tickets are available).

Imagine the expansive white interior of the Indy Art Gallery alive with a social family style seating of people all enjoying a sequence of wood fired appetizers, main dish & desserts provided by the most progressive food artisans from Santa Cruz.

The dinner will be served family style on platters to be shared + devoured by friends new and old, so bring a social spirit! Look forward to meeting + eating next to contributing food artisans like Companion Bakeshop with bread, Local Catch Monterey Bay with mussels, Happy Girl Kitchen with pickles & fresh salad, Garden Variety Cheese with yogurt herb cheese & Uncie Ro's with pizza + lasagna to die for! Dessert by Penny Ice Creamery + local cupcake darling Pastries + Petals!

Beer from 'Post No Bills' ample selection is available for purchase. Bartender Ramon shares "I have an awesome Belgium Trippel Keg by Uncommon Ales I will put on tap for $5 and a Santa Cruz Ale Works Ipa Keg on tap at $4 a Pint for that night". Come experience for yourself why Monterey Weekly voted Post No Bills 'Best Selection of Beers'!

Local wines will be poured by the glass with panache by Sommeliers Sarah Kabat & Michael Marcy of Sierra Mar-Post Ranch. "We will be pouring Natural wines, of eclectic-geeky variety, both micro-regional domestic and import". Their expansive curative insight will introduce you to sensations never felt before at the Indy Wine Bar!
Explore the living tastes of non alcoholic probiotic drinks, like beet kvass, with Creative Cultures from Santa Cruz.

Save room for dessert by 'Penny Ice Creamery' with their infamous Burnt Cinnamon Bon Bons! S'mores cupcakes from Pastries + Petals will bring the campfire to mind.  Come listen, lounge + linger over an evening never able to be repeated! Fresh coffee shots by Verve Coffee Roasters will send you off inspired into the night!

Families are encouraged to bring their children confident in the casual atmosphere and 'Kids Corner' activities provided by Monterey Museum of Art ($10 ticket for 12yrs + under). 'Paper Flowers' making is planned! 3 of a kind Craft Soda will be sampling + selling their carefully sweetened sparkling drinks (non alcoholic).

A Happy Hour Tasting starts at 5pm so dinner ticket holders can come enjoy a leisurely seating while meeting featured food artisans & tasting their creations- some of the best in the region!
