Heartbeat
Laudate Singers will close the 2018-2019 season in collaboration with brilliant Canadian guitarist Adrian Verdejo. In a program pulsing with tango and exciting new music, the featured work will be Romancero Gitano by Castelnuovo-Tedesco, a monumental setting of text by Garcia Lorca. This multi-movement work will feature the virtuosity of both choir and guitarist. The program will also include the world premiere of 2 new works by composer-in-residence Marco Del Rio and up-and-coming local composer Emile Deedes-Vincke.
