SELECTIVE MEMORY: Prototype
Prototype: Blake Williams debut experimental feature shot in stereoscopic 3-D is both immersive and overpowering, the images designed to leap off of the screen radically confront expectations of how 3-D films behave. Prototype breaks traditional ideas of film space, flowing into moments of transcendence before emerging as a portrait of post-flood 1900 Galveston, Texas.
Prototype is the first screening in this summer's SELECTIVE MEMORY weekly screening series curated by MEMORY (www.memory.is).
SELECTIVE MEMORY aims to showcase innovative non-fiction films that push the boundaries of the form, while engaging with the idea of truth.
Doors at 7:30, show at 8!
